On this project, we removed some unsightly shrubs, and raised the front yard 3 1/2 feet to level it out. We then laid sod to give it a finished look.

This project took us 4 weeks to complete. It was a hard-access project as there was no way to bring in or remove material besides a wheelbarrow. We ripped out a backyard full of ivy, removed approximately 25 yards of unusable fill dirt, built a 4 1/2 foot natural rock retaining wall to stabilize the hill on the back portion of the yard, laid sod, and built a natural rock staircase for access to the back portion of the yard.
